Sparring

Olympic style sparring is a very special part of our program. Sparring gives you the opportunity to take what you learned in class and apply it in a safe and organized environment.

TaeKwonDo

TaeKwonDo is a Korean Martial Art. Not only does it focus on kicking and punching techniques, but also on character development. Because of the emphasis on respect for others, self-control, and loyalty, parents often choose TaeKwonDo to help their children learn these values in addition to increasing physical fitness.

 

Hapkido

Hapkido is a Korean martial art that focuses on self-defense. Techniques taught in class would be: joint locking,throwing,choking, and holds. The essence of this style is to gain advantage through technique to avoid using strength against strength. This makes Hapkido especially useful for small people, as they are not required to meet the full force of an attacker.
